Barbara Mandrell

1948년 12월 25일 미국 Texas주에서 태어난 가수겸 배우.
한국에선 별로 알려지지 않았지만 Barbara Mandrell은 미국에서는 미모와

가창력을 겸비한 만능 연예인으로 70년대 최고 인기를 누렸던 정상급 가수 Guitar,

Banjo, Accordion, Saxophone수많은 악기를 자유자재로 다루며 특히 Steel Guitar는

상당한 수준급으로 The Princess of Steel이라는 별명을 갖고 있음. Barbara Mandrell은

30여년 간의 가수생활을 통하여 30여장의 앨범을 발표한바 있으며 1980년, 1981년도

Country Musc Awards의 Entertainer of the Year 대상을 2년 연속 수상하였음.
